Your efforts allowed the Democrats to retain control of the Senate, and choke the so called “Red Wave” to a trickle.

At our presentation at the NA annual Convention in Minneapolis, my husband and I, predicted a 51-49 Senate win for the Democratic party, and if the remaining Georgia seat is held that may come true.

In the House, there are 16 races in districts rated competitive prior to the election that have not yet been called. The Republicans are favored to control the House but at a much lower number os seats than history suggests.

Voters saw the election as a referendum not on Mr. Biden’s record but as a verdict on the state of American democracy, an opportunity to reject the lie that the 2020 election had been stolen.

Voters turned out to protect the lives and livelihoods of struggling families in a pandemic; modernizing infrastructure, allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, making tax-dodging corporations pay up on billions in profit; lowering carbon emissions and reducing utility bills; and canceling student debt for over 40 million Americans.

We have much to be thankful in our 42nd year as an organization but the fight goes on. Learn the skills that make communication about our values efficient and keep in touch with the issues that matter. Social Justice is our history, make this our future!
