New Reggie Williams Website Launched on Anniversary of His Passing

Black gay activist and early NABWMT member Reggie Williams was Executive Director of the National Task Force on AIDS Prevention (NTFAP) from 1988 to 1994. This organization originated as a program of NABWMT. February 7, 2009, US National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, also marked the 10th anniversary of Reggie's death in Amsterdam.
Reggie's partner of seven years Wolfgang Schreiber announced the launching of a Reggie Williams Website on the anniversary:

www.reggiewilliams.org or www.reggiewilliams.net

The new website features a brief journey through Reggie's life from Cincinnati in the Fifties to Amsterdam in the late Nineties. One chapter focuses on the history of the NTFAP. You'll see lots of photographs and videos of Reggie and the Reggie Williams Exhibits in Los Angeles 2001 and San Francisco 2002/03. There are links to relevant websites about HIV/AIDS and a page commemorating some of Reggie's friends in the struggle.

"In the future more videos and photographs will be added to the Reggie Website. Please bring it to everybody's attention who might be interested. A link to the new Reggie Williams Website from other websites are welcomed." Wolfgang

The Reggie Williams Exhibit is still available! All exhibit materials are in storage at the Black AIDS Institute, Los Angeles.
